Coming from a line of doctors spanning several generations, Françoise Garcin chose Microbiology and the prevention of infectious diseases as her vocation, leaving research laboratories to create her own company, guided by her entrepreneurial spirit.

In 1986, in Clermont-Ferrand,

Françoise Garcin , Doctor of Pharmacy, holder of a DEA in Microbiology and a DESS in Business Management, created the F. GARCIN Pharmaceutical Laboratories .

With its experience in academic research and management, its mission is to design, manufacture and market high-quality antimicrobial products for the medical and dental sectors.

From the very beginning, the company committed to respecting Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) , placing quality assurance and user safety at the heart of its approach.

A PRODUCT FOR A PRECISE INDICATION : the excipients are studied and specific for each use

FEATURES:

  • Active in the presence of biofilms : peroxides act on microorganisms and degrade biofilms. Quaternary ammoniums, which are emulsifying and dispersing surfactants, reinforce their action.
  • Non-corrosive : At the recommended concentration, the risk of corrosion is particularly low. At 10 times the concentration, the corrosion resistance is even greater than that observed with saliva.
  • Non-volatile, non-toxic : all products derived from the formulation have undergone toxicological tests (in the European context, this practice will become mandatory). Tests for eye irritation, skin irritation on scarified skin, and skin irritation by repeated application are particularly reassuring and do not require consideration of special measures for the protection of humans and their environment, unlike many formalin or phenolic preparations.
  • Biodegradability: much higher than the legal rate of 95% (their discharge with wastewater has no harmful consequences for the environment).
  • Stability: Medium or high temperatures are often a factor in product inactivation, resulting in the release of toxic fumes and reduced effectiveness. Our formulation retains its full effectiveness at 40°C and above.
  • Expiration : their shelf life is greater than 7 years in their original unopened packaging and under normal storage conditions.
  • Effective according to AFNOR standards for bactericidal, virucidal and fungicidal properties. Also tested on wild and hospital strains.
